Hire Service Terms & Conditions
1) All hire clients must present photo ID with current address details and a telephone contact number to qualify for this service - and are required to sign a hire agreement before equipment can be taken.
2) All listed hire fees are per day (ie: pickup Monday 11:30am - return following day by 11:00am).
3) All hire fees and bonds are to be PAID IN ADVANCE - and DO NOT include set-up or delivery.
4) Saturday / Sunday / return-Monday-morning hires are only charged for one day ... we're closed Sundays!
5) Hire equipment can be picked up between 11:30am and 5:00pm on the day of the hire-booking. At our discretion, an earlier pickup time may be arranged depending upon the previous night's booking schedule.
6) All hired equipment must be returned by the hirer by 11:00am the following day otherwise extra charges may be applied.
7) $50.00 refundable bond applies to all equipment hires. Return of the bond is pending return of equipment on time and in good working/physical condition.
8) $100.00 bond applies to interstate clients.
9) Bonds are only refunded to the person who signs the hire agreement - unless the hirer nominates another person at the time the hire agreement is signed. The other person nominated is required to supply photo ID to obtain the bond refund. Please note that bond refunds are returned in whatever form the bond-payment was received (ie: cash for cash - EFTPOS for EFTPOS).
10) Regardless of whomever returns the equipment stipulated on the hire agreement, the person who signed the hire agreement is responsible for the stipulated equipment and agrees to pay at the time of returning the equipment for any loss or damage that may happen to the equipment while the equipment is still in their possession (that includes hires that are returned late and are kept beyond the hire agreement's stated time-period).
11) Hire bonds do not cover all potential loss or damage. Where the cost of repair or replacement exceeds the amount of any deposit paid, we will require a further payment of the value of the difference. Where the amount of a deposit exceeds the cost of any repair or replacement, any remaining balance will be refunded to you after a repair has been completed or replacement obtained.
12) If equipment requires cleaning or maintenance after a hire is returned a percentage of the bond may be deducted before the balance of the bond is returned.
13) Please allow approximately 15 minutes for your hire to be processed upon pickup and return.
For the your saftey - and the safe operation of the equipment - we suggest that amplifiers or speaker cabinets are NOT used as drink-trays or ash-tray holders.
All speaker and microphone leads are supplied in tidy circular coils. We'd appreciate it if all leads are returned in the same condition.
We're more than happy to show you how to operate the gear if you're unfamiliar with audio equipment.

We do not accept liability for any costs or claims arising from a hirer's use of our equipment. Having taken delivery of an item, a hirer accepts responsibility for its functional and electrical safety, and for ensuring it is used correctly.
